There’s nothing as good as the club listening to the cries and concerns of the fans; after all, without the fans, there won’t be a football club.
It has been confirmed that Chelsea will host Liverpool at Stamford Bridge on March 3 in the FA Cup fifth round.
The Blues had initially announced that the price ticket for this game will be £40, but after much cries from the Chelsea fans, as the Blues fans vented their outrage at the pricing, the club has lowered it to £30 for adults, and £15 for juniors.
The club released a statement thus: “In response to concerns raised by supporters through the Chelsea Supporters Trust (CST) around the pricing of tickets for our upcoming FA Cup fifth round tie against Liverpool, we can confirm that we will be returning the prices to the original level of £30 for adults and £15 for juniors and seniors.”
The Chelsea Supporters Trust hailed the club’s decision to lower the ticket fee, and journalist Matt Law was appreciative that the club could actually listen to the fans.
