Ahead of Monday’s Premier League game against Manchester United at Stamford Bridge, former Manchester United midfielder Robbie Savage has shared his prediction.
Savage said, according to The Mirror: “Chelsea welcome Manchester United to Stamford Bridge on Monday night knowing that a victory will see the fourth-place Blues move nine points clear of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side, and that is surely a mountain that the Red Devils can’t climb in their pursuit of a return to the Champions League.
“Frank Lampard’s Blues will be looking to make the most of their home advantage, but United have picked up some impressive results on the road this season – including two wins at neighbours Manchester City – and so shouldn’t be counted out.”
Savage’s prediction: Chelsea 2-1 Manchester United
