Chelsea are fourth in the Premier League, and the Blues face stiff competition from possibly four other clubs for the number 4 position.
Tottenham, Sheffield United, Manchester United and Wolves are all contending to finish in top four, with Spurs the closest to the Blues.
Tottenham are four points behind Chelsea, but former Spurs striker Peter Crouch doesn’t think his former side will finish in the top four despite a massive win over Manchester City.
Crouch wrote in his column for the Daily Mail: “Tottenham got a tremendous boost last Sunday, with an unexpected win against Manchester City, but I don’t think it will make a difference to the outcome of their Premier League campaign.
“I believe Leicester and Chelsea will finish in the top four and there will be little my old team can do about it.”
It’s about 12 years since Tottenham last won a trophy, and Crouch believes that the FA Cup should be their target this season.
He added: “What would make this campaign memorable, however, is a piece of silverware and something made me feel the FA Cup was an achievable target on Wednesday, when Tottenham came from behind to knock out Southampton.”
