Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger was all over the place against Bayern Munich as the Bavarians ran riot in the second half against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday night.
The Blues had managed to keep Bayern from scoring in the first half, but there was no room for errors from the German champions in the second half as a quickfire brace from Serge Gnabry and another from Robert Lewandowski was enough to seal a massive win for the away side.
Former Liverpool and Bayern Munich midfielder Dietmar Hamann has slammed the performance of Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger claiming he doesn’t see the quality the German centre-back possesses and has called on Chelsea to make at least two or three defensive signings during the summer transfer window.
He told RTE Sport: “Everyone is raving about [Antonio] Rudiger saying he’s our [Germany] number one centre-back going into Euro 2020. I don’t see what other people see.
“I think [Andreas] Christensen is a very talented player but he lacks help and [Cesar] Azpilicueta is coming to the end of his career.
“So I think in defence they need reinforcement and at least two or three players.”
