Bayern Munich winger Serge Gnabry tore Chelsea apart in the second half and was named man of the match as Bayern Munich defeated Chelsea 3-0 at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday night.
Gnabry scored two quickfire goals in the second half to spur the Bavarians to a massive win, in what is Chelsea’s worst European defeat at Stamford Bridge.
Olivier Giroud was teammates with Gnabry at Arsenal, and he has revealed his shock at how much the former Arsenal youngster has developed.

“I played with him at Arsenal. At 16, he was not mature enough but obviously at 16 nobody is,” Giroud told reporters after the game.
“But the way he improved is amazing and he is doing so well since the last two or three years now. I’m happy for him because he deserves it and he’s a good guy who has worked a lot.
“He’s been very good tonight also, so it’s good for him and we need to bounce back on Saturday. It’s very disappointing today, but I understand sometimes you try but they were too good for us.”
