Odion Ighalo completed a stunning loan move from Chinese Super League side Shanghai Shenhua on transfer deadline day.

However, Ighalo has not been able to train with his teammates ahead of Monday night’s clash. According to reports, Ighalo has been banned from the AON training complex due to the coronavirus fear.

The 30-year-old striker has been training at GB Taekwondo Centre since his arrival and was not part of the Manchester United squad that travelled to Marbella in Spain during the winter break.

The Mirror claim that Ighalo was instructed to train separately away from the Manchester United training ground for health and safety concerns as he completes his 14-day incubation period.

Ighalo could now make his Manchester United debut against Chelsea after completing an enforced 14-day spell away from his new side due to coronavirus fears.
