Former Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic was teammates with Blues boss Frank Lampard, and they both won the Champions League together in 2012.
Lampard is now the manager of the club, and Ivanovic believes that Lampard is the right man for the Chelsea job and rates the team’s current status as he hailed Lampard for doing a good job so far.

“Frank is the right person, in the right place and in any job he will succeed,” Ivanovic told Marca.
“The problem with coaches is that they need results and titles, but I think they are doing a fantastic job and it is not easy. If you do it as a coach as you did as a player…”
Ivanovic racked up 377 appearances for the club before leaving for Russian side Zenit St.Petersburg.
Lampard will be itching to get through this season and have his first summer transfer window where he can sign new players for the team having started last summer with no signing due to the transfer ban placed on the club.
