Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante has admitted that he’s looking forward to work with injured midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek.
Loftus-Cheek is yet to play a game this season for the Blues and Kante can’t wait to play with the 24-year-old and he believes the England international will be a good addition to the team.
Kante said: “Ruben is a good player. He can bring a lot to the team. He was doing very well last season and it’s good to have him back with us in training. We hope he can help us to achieve what we want.
“I believe we have the team to get what we want this season – to finish in the top four, get Champions League football next season and why not to win a title as well. We have everything that we need in this team.”
Loftus-Cheek is now back in training and Lampard has revealed that he’s close to a return to first-team action.
Lampard said in his press conference ahead of Manchester United clash: “Ruben won’t be fit for this game… he’s getting closer… it’s great to have him nearly back.”
