Kepa Arrizabalaga was dropped by Frank Lampard and replaced by Willy Caballero for Chelsea’s 2-2 draw against Leicester City on Saturday.
Lampard took the decision to drop Kepa Arrizabalaga following a series of poor performances in front of goal for the Blues.
According to Daily Star, Kepa blames Chelsea centre-backs – Antonio Rudiger, Andreas Christensen, Kurt Zouma and Fikayo Tomori – for his poor performances in goal for the Blues.
Kepa is also reportedly shocked at Lampard’s decision to drop him for the game against Leicester City and with reports also claiming Lampard will stick with Caballero despite his unconvincing performance against Leicester, Kepa is determined to fight for his Chelsea future.
Pls lampard give him A another chance don’t bench us in my opsavesion
Lampard should buy strike
Caballero is too weak… He will only get Lampard sacked…
Lampard’s indecision about his defense is enough to confuse even the best goalkeeper in team… We have had the most inconsistent backline and no combination has been convincing so to protect himself why not blame Kepa…
Gorginho is slow for the holding position. If he lost position he’s always cautioned all because he’s slow.the team needs kante back on holding position. Someone who helps the defensive role
Kepa is unstoppable at a goal line, he is a best one than Caballero coz he has no any unnecessary movements at a goal line
Only Rüdiger and Cesar show consistency at the backline, more defenders are highly needed
It is cool
We need to play for the team not for ourselves. If you look at the chances Chelsea had at Leicester. You would see that needed to play as a team. Look back to the chances we had.
