Chelsea have an away trip to Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium on Saturday afternoon, and it’s an important game for Chelsea as the Blues seek to maintain their position in top four, with Manchester United only behind with just three points.
Chelsea boss Frank Lampard has now confirmed that N’Golo Kante, Tammy Abraham, Christian Pulisic and Callum Hudson-Odoi will all miss this game due to injury.
“Pulisic is still injured and Kante is still injured,” said Frank Lampard at his customary pre-match press conference.
“Abraham is injured with the same problem as before. We’re trying to find a solution with him. It’s frustrating that he has come in and out somewhat but he’s injured for tomorrow. Callum is another one who isn’t fit this weekend.”
Kante hobbled out of the Manchester United match last Monday with an adductor injury and is expected to be out until March.
Hudson-Odoi suffered a hamstring injury in training during the winter break and has not featured since then.
Pulisic has been sorely missed and is yet to play a minute of action since New Year’s Day with an adductor problem.
Tammy Abraham returned to the squad to face Bayern Munich on Tuesday, but got injured afterwards.
