According to The Sun, Chelsea boss Frank Lampard dropped Willian from the starting XI against Leicester after the Brazilian sulked over a failed move to Barcelona.
The 31 year old Brazilian has been a regular for Chelsea this season but was surprisingly dropped to the bench for the game against Leicester City.
The Sun claim Willian sulked on the training ground in the run-up to the clash against the Foxes and Lampard decided there was no way he could start the Brazilian as a result.
Spanish champions Barcelona tried to sign Willian during the January transfer window but Chelsea weren’t willing to listen to offers for the Brazilian.
Willian’s current deal at Stamford Bridge expires this summer and as yet he is not close to signing a new contract, with reports even claiming he could join Barcelona on a free transfer in the summer.
