Olivier Giroud has barely played for Chelsea this season, with Chelsea boss Frank Lampard opting to use Tammy Abraham.
Despite having Michy Batshuayi and Olivier Giroud in the squad, Lampard still opted to use Abraham against Leicester even though he wasn’t fully fit.
Giroud has not played for Chelsea since the end of November and former Tottenham Hotspur boss Tim Sherwood has questioned Lampard’s decision to disregard Giroud.
“My question to Frank Lampard would be what has Olivier Giroud done wrong,” Sherwood said on Premier League Productions.
“Teams chasing top four, all of them, Tottenham, Arsenal – they would have him back – and Man United. They would all have him.
“Chelsea have got him and won’t play him.”
