The world’s most expensive goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga has failed to start a game for Chelsea since the 2-2 draw at Leicester City.

Chelsea boss Frank Lampard insists there has been no clashing between him and the Chelsea board over his decision to drop Kepa Arrizabalaga from the starting XI.

“Certainly not. That fills a lot of headlines for people,” Lampard said.

“I’m absolutely together with all the club and the board, because we all want the best. And I’m paid to make decisions.

“So with form, I have to consider the goalkeeper position. Recently it’s just changed, but that’s nothing final.

“All Kepa needs to do is train and show a great attitude, as I demand from all the players. And things can obviously change. But all I want is the best for the team.”

If Frank decides to let Kepa go, he could do a lot worse than look at Dubravka at Newcastle

  8. Jose ‘Did’ shake Franks hand but the staff around him walked in front of the camera shot just as the pair shook hands! Lets not take away Franks victory by slating our old manager!

  9. Lampard and Kepa are both paid to deliver positive results, Kepa’s poor form will cost Lampard his job. Lampard is right and on point.Lampard’s vision for the club great. If given the support,Lampard will win champs league within two years from now.
