Chelsea were humiliated by Bayern Munich 3-0 at Stamford Bridge in the Champions League clash on Tuesday night.
The Blues were outclassed by the Bavarians on Chelsea’s turf as Chelsea’s performance in the second half was below par.
Speaking after that game, Frank Lampard’s message was clear as he sought an improvement from the team in the upcoming game against Bournemouth.
Speaking ahead of Saturday’s clash against the Cherries at the Vitality Stadium, Lampard has admitted that he has been pleased with the attitude of his players on the training ground.
Lampard told reporters: “The response will be what we see tomorrow. The lads have been fine in training, they looked determined this morning.
“Things like this happen in football – there are moments and games where it’s tough and it opens your eyes somewhat but the tester is how you come back from that individually and collectively.
“I’m interested to see the reaction; it feels like it will be good. Our last Premier League performance was very, very good so we have to carry on from that.”
