According to The Sun, Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga is set to leave Stamford Bridge at the end of the season over broken promises from Frank Lampard.

Kepa believes there was a verbal agreement he will be No.1 goalkeeper at Stamford Bridge and is unhappy Lampard has now dropped him to the bench in recent weeks.

Kepa has been ditched in favour of Willy Caballero for the last four games and he believes his dreams of playing for Spain at Euro 2020 are fading with his situation at Stamford Bridge.

The Sun claims Kepa feels he has not been supported by either the club or boss Frank Lampard during his first dip in form this season.

The Spaniard hasn’t played for the Blues since the 2-2 draw against Arsenal at Stamford Bridge.

Lampard is expected to overhaul the squad this summer and it is believed Kepa is on the list of players to be sold this summer.

  1. So Kepa thinks he deserves to play even though he admits he has had a dip in form? He’s had the whole first half of the season to get back on track but hasn’t so he needs to show some respect for other players, manager and coaching team and the club and show some fight for his place. Needs to keep his mouth shut and concentrate on his football.

  2. kepa should not be sold
