Chelsea have long been linked with Real Madrid star Isco, and the rumours were back again during the January transfer window.

Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane on the other hand has been clamouring for Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante, and Spanish outlet El Desmarque, claim that the Los Blancos could offer Chelsea the chance to sign long-term target Isco, with N’Golo Kante moving the other way to the Bernabeu.

Isco’s stock has dropped at the Bernabeu, and Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is keen to use Chelsea’s interest in Isco to land the Frenchman.

Talks of Kante moving to Madrid have been going on for more than a year now, and the Los Blancos have succeeded in signing two former Chelsea stars Thibaut Courtois and Eden Hazard.

Surely, Chelsea fans won’t be happy to lose another star player to Real Madrid.

Kante has won the Premier League, FA Cup and Europa League with Chelsea, but he’s not being used at his best position under Frank Lampard as there have been pressures for the Blues boss to revert him to his natural defensive midfield position.
