Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has been urged to remain patient with Chelsea boss Frank Lampard despite Chelsea’s poor recent form.

This is according to Chelsea fan Austin, who believes Lampard has done well as Chelsea boss despite having to work with young players.

However, Austin suggested Chelsea sack director Marina Granovskaia.

Commenting on the post ‘Abramovich urged to sack this Chelsea staff immediately’ Austin wrote on The Real Chelsea Fans: “Roman should be patient with Frank because he is a good coach and mean well for Chelsea.

“He loves Chelsea and is eager to work hard [for the club]. He’s achieved despite working with young players. He needs to be equipped and given our support.

“I suggest [Marina Granovskaia] be sacked. Period.”

  1. Mariana should leave peaceful,so that someone can do what Frank says.

  2. Marina should be sacked, she is not helping things

  3. I support him, she should be sacked… Looking back to when Michael Emenalo was in charge, Chelsea signed players easily and reasonable players too, but since he left, all we do is just negotiate and it breaks down….

  4. She need to leave the club, I can’t count any reasonable achievement with her..

  5. Yes Austin is right. Marina must be sacked if Abramovich want improvement for Chelsea problem. Because it shows from day one since Abramovich has given her a job as a position of Chelsea sport director yet she didn’t make any good signing for the team and always delaying of any good transfer deal. To be frank Marina is a source of Chelsea problem!

So no doubting if Chelsea want a changes to the team most especially on transfer deal. Marina must leave the position give another experience person to anchor the position. Bluez is my blood color. Thanks.

Sometimes we blame CFC Board on numerous reasons like the lack of potential signings, changes in staff, etc. We wonder a whole lot as to ‘what could the reason/s for failing to sign a potential replacement or add-up? I am of the conviction some staff needs replacement and I support the idea.

  7. I in support with Austin, that’s very true.If u love the club,do exactly what Austin said coz Marina does not mean good for the club.Lampard has been crying for adding power (force) upfront (striker) , u gave her a lot of money to spend 150m pounds & one of those strikers was very cheap just 27m pounds but she failed to buy him. This shows that she doesn’t know what she is doing at the club. She wants to be running the club as if it’s her home.Bring back Emminallo or Michael Ballack for that job,I wonder what role Peter Check is playing at the club coz he doesn’t seem to be advising her of what to do.

  9. Am in support of what Austin said because she’s not helping super Frank at all may be she has collected some money for Chelsea to be loosing I don’t get at all she should just leave peacefully

  10. True. We dont need her.

  11. Chelsea should be careful not to focus too much on the academy players, even Barcelona has balanced his squad with matured players to give leadership to the team. Too many childish errors upfront

You can’t fault the input Frank has undertaken due to the ban imposed. Surely whilst the ban was in place Marina had no buying to undertake, therefore had the time to workout any future strategies or future purchases, definitely a goal scorer and a central defender.

  13. Bring back Michael Emenalo! No transfers have been right since he left!!!!

  14. Behind Frank, all the way.Austin you could never more correct.

  15. What Marina is doing at Chelsea is good business decisions not good footbal decisions, she’s cutting costs and tries to negotiate the cheapest deal possible, when she has made deals they we all awful, since signing Rudiger Chelsea haven’t signed anyone with much impact… Sack the lady put someone who understands football not business she’s hurting the club

Chelsea was a go gettum club, now it’s a savers paradise.SACK HER she doesn’t care about the team .

  17. To be sincere this was also noticed during the time of Conte, Sarri & now Lampard, in as much as i don’t agree that Lampard is good enough for Chelsea,I strongly believe that Marina is not meeting to the Coaches demand.

I support him 100% that woman is the problem we are facing..

  20. Our club has not been ambitious coz any coach comes and demand for their type players club doesnt meet his requirements for example with conte.ok leaving that now lampard certainly did wanted cavani as a back support in this critical condition or any other signings but they didnt signed anyone..If the lack ambition of club is only by marina then she should be sacked but if its from chelsea other board members then the responsible one must be sacked..I am not feeling the ambition and desire to be a champions in board members…I just see signing a manager for couple of years and providing them with average players and sometimes good player and then sack them no matter what trophy we won and there is liv. and city who are giving managers their players and the time to acheive thats what ambitious team does..At least provide best players to manager or provide player whom manager wants..Its seems like all manager are scared of club sacking them and are just trying to make up the club objective in small budget with little satisfaction..Find out the real person to blame for this lack of ambition and lack of respect for us i.e. fans…we expect lot but always have to struggle and be satisfied with the mediocre things…we love chelsea thats why we always support chelsea even if we lose but i’m really frustrated from board’s behaviour

Sure, find a replacement she’d leave a space for others to work potentially for our club, no need to have her in a board she got nothing for us.

Lampard means well for Chelsea no doubt. But the experience and top level skill needed to manage our team cannot be traded for oldboys love..i conclude we allow him build up experience and engage him when he has proven himself…..for now we cannot allow Lampard to build his coaching cv with us (reference to Arteta back at Arsenal)..as a team our expectations are sky high and we the fans are used to consistency in wining
