Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger has claimed ‘racism has won’ after he was booed by Tottenham fans in Chelsea’s 2-1 win over Spurs on Saturday.
The German international was subjected to racist chants by some sections of Tottenham Hotspur fans at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium during Chelsea’s 2-0 victory over Tottenham in December.
Spurs and the Metropolitan Police conducted an investigation into Rudiger’s claims but claimed no evidence was found to support accusations of racist abuse.
“Racism has won,” Rudiger told Sky Sport.
“It shows that these people won because they can go back to the stadium. They won’t be punished and at the end of the day I’m the bogeyman.
“It is not that I give up or no longer raise my voice. I will always raise my voice, but I am alone in this regard.”
