Chelsea academy product Jeremie Boga left the club for Sassuolo, and the young winger is doing well in the Italian Serie A.

The 23-year-old left Chelsea on a permanent deal in 2018 to Sassuolo for a fee of £2.5m after making just one appearance for the club.

There have been talks about a buy-back clause in Boga’s deal, and Sassuolo CEO Giovanni Carnevalli has confirmed that it’s true.

“Chelsea can redeem him in June,” Carnevalli said.

“We have an excellent relationship with them, we met them with them before Christmas also for other operations, because we like it as we did with Barcelona, to have a collaborative relationship.

“They can take him back, but we can also do an operation together, we can take him back, there is total openness.”

Chelsea is more than just a football club to me; it's a passion I share, and my affinity with the Chelsea badge is one that will last forever. As far as watching my favourite team is concerned, I'd rather miss a meal than miss a Chelsea game.

  1. The Chelsea team is very fantastic. But they have to play to score more goals to finish in top four.
