Chelsea have since been linked with a move for Ajax star Hakim Ziyech. The Blues couldn’t get any of their targets during the January transfer window and are already working hard to bring in players ahead of the 2020/21 season.
According to Sky Sports, Chelsea are in advanced talks to sign Hakim Ziyech from Ajax and a £38m deal is likely to be completed in days.
Reports from the Netherlands claim that the Blues have reached an agreement to sign the 26-year-old star.
According to De Telegraaf, Chelsea have reached a verbal agreement with the Dutch champions to sign Ziyech at the end of the season.
The report claims that advanced negotiations have taken place in the last 24 hours and Chelsea have agreed to pay £37.8m for the Morocco international.
Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham has reacted to this recent news by giving his approval on social media.
An Instagram account @433 posted a picture of Ziyech with the caption: “Ajax and Chelsea have reached an agreement for the transfer of @hziyech this summer.”
Abraham reacted to the deal by liking the picture, and it seems the 22-year-old will be keen to play in the same team with Ziyech.
Ziyech has been a key figure at Ajax over the past two seasons, with 29 goals and 45 assists in 78 appearances.
