Tammy Abraham is on his way to becoming one of Chelsea’s greatest players ever following his start to his senior Chelsea career.
The 22 year old striker was made the team’s first choice captain this season by Frank Lampard and he has so far made good use of the opportunity.
Abraham currently has a better goals-per-game ratio than Chelsea legend Didier Drogba in the Premier League. He has scored 13 goals in 26 Premier League appearances, giving him a goals-per-game ratio of 0.50 while Drogba scored 104 goals in 254 appearances for Chelsea in the Premier League, giving him a goals-per-game ratio of 0.41.
If Abraham continues at his current rate and remains at Chelsea for a long time, he could surpass Drogba’s goalscoring record for Chelsea.
Can Abraham do it? Only time will tell.
