Kepa Arrizabalaga has come under heavy criticism this season for his performances in goal for the Blues. His performances for the Blues this season hasn’t justified the £72 million the club spent on his transfer in the summer of 2018.
Kepa has the worst save percentage in the Premier League and was dropped for the 2-2 draw at Leicester City.
Chelsea boss Frank Lampard is assessing potential replacements for Kepa Arrizabalaga.
Here are the six goalkeepers that have been linked with a move to Chelsea in the summer:
1. Andre Onana
The Ajax goalkeeper helped the Dutch champions reach the semifinals of the Champions League last season with solid performances in goal. The 23 year old Cameroonian is keen on moving to the Premier League next season and he reportedly prefers a move to Chelsea.
2. Gianluigi Donnarumma
Despite being just 20 years old, Gianluigi Donnarumma has made 165 appearances in Serie A for AC Milan. His AC Milan contract expires at the end of next season and the Italian club could cash in on him this summer.
3. Nick Pope
The 27 year old dislodged Tom Heaton and Joe Hart to become No 1 at Burnley but questions are being asked about the merits of signing Heaton to replace Arrizabalaga. Pope’s save percentage is only marginally better than Kepa’s, so is signing him really an improvement on Kepa?
4. Martin Dubravka
Unlike Burnley goalkeeper Nick Pope, Martin Dubravka has an impressive save percentage ratio. The Slovakian international has impressed in goal for Newcastle United this season. Chelsea might need to spend big to sign Dubravka as his Newcastle United contract runs till the summer of 2025.
5. Vicente Guaita
Chelsea reportedly made enquiries in January about signing the 33 year old Crystal Palace goalkeeper but his mistake in last weekend’s defeat to Sheffield United may hurt his chances of a move.
6. Mike Maignan
The Lille goalkeeper has made over 100 appearances for the Ligue 1 side since joining from PSG in 2015. The 24-year-old has kept eight clean sheets in the league this season but conceded four goals across the two games against Chelsea in the Champions League group stages. Is he really better than Kepa?
It hurts to see inconsistency in my most valued club.
Lampard must sign Valencia goalkeeper
Arizabalaga is not a bad keeper it’s just dat he is overconfident due 2 lack of competition n if at all there need 4 a replacement I think onana or donnaruma will b my choice.
I took Peter Czech only one Season to establish himself as Chelsea No one. If it is taking Kepa this long to do same, then any goal keeper better than this is the best bet for Chelsea.
Best of all is Onana, good penalties also, but don’t sell keppa he is good better loan him he will help us one of the days he is still young
Onana.the Cameroonian keeper will be a big revealation to fit in…

Kepa is just having bad time, have we considered the Chelsea backline?
They are terrible.
The defence has to blend with the Gk, they are too anxious to play and jump into every all without calculating carefully. Kepa is too good to be kept aside, revitalize the goalkeeper in him by working on the backline and watch him do wonders
Onana is good Dunaruma is also good the but on Dunàruma is what gives Onana edge over Dunaruma besides these duo are younger than Kepa and no need to loan Kepa we should keep him Willi. C is old let it competitive that will bring seriousness and focus for them. Thanks UP BLUES
