Chelsea boss Frank Lampard dropped Kepa Arrizabalaga for Chelsea’s 2-2 draw at Leicester City, with the boss preferring to start Willy Caballero instead.

According to various reports, Lampard is set to stick with Caballero for the visit of Manchester United to Stamford Bridge on February 17th.

According to Daily Mail, Chelsea director Marina Granovskaia and the Chelsea board are unhappy with Lampard’s decision to drop Kepa Arrizabalaga as they believe the Spaniard’s value will drop drastically if he continues to sit on the bench.

Granovskaia spent a world record fee of £71 million to sign Kepa from Athletic Bilbao in the summer of 2018 and she would be reluctant to sell the 25 year old goalkeeper for less than fee paid for the Spaniard.

Lampard’s request for a new goalkeeper in the summer is set to cause friction between the boss and Granovskaia.

  1. That’s our eternal problem at Chelsea. Grava, why don’t you simply shut your mouth and for once let Frankie or any other coach do his job!!!

  2. If your duty is to buy then his duty is to bring result ,so let him bee even the owner of chelsea will not like seeing lampard losing so will you? Pls let him bee your work is different from his .

My name isPrince and I can play very well football just that I have not give an opportunity to show the only talent I have I’m really sad to see that I’m good at it yet I never given a chance to play please help me achieve this talent that’s just dying thanks

    • Kepa has no problem. The problem us with the defence midfield and Lampards systems employed. Beside that, the front line is not sharp enough to penetrate a well organised defence. You cannot finish 90 minutes with only four shots at go!

Let the coach do his job,,give him tym n space

  5. Granovskaia you bought Kepa to bring quality to Chelsea and help us win games but what good is he if he is costing us games? Frank is the coach… let him do his job which is to bring good results and that’s what he is doing by picking Willy instead of Kepa. Just give him space to do his job.

  6. The idea of putting a woman in men’s things is some bull shits..
Go get your nail done and hair done, don’t mess up Chelsea and Frank lampard.

  7. Everybody, including Kepa, knows he is not a £70m keeper.. what people forget is Courtois forced Chelsea to buy a keeper or face the season with the reserve.. ultimately he only cost the club less than half the fee because of the sale of Courtois.. he is mediocre at best.. and Granovskaia wouldn’t negotiate her way out of a parking space.. her track record for buying players is abysmal.. no wonder Emanello left.. put her up in the next window and see if there are any takers..

  8. Gd lamps dropped him he’s become to proud of his position doesn’t make the gd saves anymore and if dropped acts like a kid if he goes on sell him get a keeper who wants to play rather then have no heart at all
