The Blues have reached an agreement with Dutch champions Ajax for the signing of Hakim Ziyech.
The 26 year old Moroccan international will join Chelsea in the summer after completing the current season with Ajax.
Chelsea had tried to sign him during the January transfer window but Ajax were unwilling to let an important player leave during the season.
The 26-year-old grabbed three assists during the entertaining 4-4 draw with Ajax at Stamford Bridge and Chelsea boss Frank Lampard liked what he saw about Ziyech.
Ziyech will become Lampard’s first signing at Chelsea, but what shirt would the 26 year old wear at Chelsea?
Ziyech currently wears the No 22 shirt at Ajax and that is currently being worn by Christian Pulisic at Chelsea.
With Pedro set to leave at the end of the season and Willian also likely to leave after failing to reach an agreement with the club, Ziyech could get his No 22 shirt with Pulisic taking the No 10 shirt.
Ziyech wears the No 7 shirt with the Moroccan national team but with N’Golo Kante owning that kit, this seems unlikely at Chelsea.
He has worn No. 10 for Ajax on multiple occasions, while he has also worn No. 11 for his country back in 2015/16.
