Chelsea boss Frank Lampard has changed and shuffled his team a number of times this season, and football analysts have complained about the manager’s style of chopping his team now and then.

The Premier League is currently suspended until next month, and there are some players who will be yearning to win the manager’s trust when the league resumes.

1. Olivier Giroud

Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud has found playing time very hard this season, as he was third choice striker at the club behind Michy Batshuayi and Tammy Abraham. Giroud only just won his place in the Chelsea team after a failed January exit.

Giroud played the last four games for Chelsea and performed well, scoring two goals. Beyond his goals, Giroud provided something extra for the team, and the Blues boss must now learn to trust the World Cup winner when the league resumes.

2. Marcos Alonso

Chelsea boss Frank Lampard hasn’t had much trust for Marcos Alonso this season. The Chelsea boss started the season with Emerson Palmieri, but the Italy international failed to impress, and he opted to even use Cesar Azpilicueta as a makeshift left-back. While Cesar didn’t do bad in that role, there was something missing in his game.

Interestingly, Alonso has scored 4 league goals in 11 league games and also registered two assists. The Spaniard has won back his place in the Chelsea team recently, but Lampard must now trust the Spaniard as his best left-back.

3. Billy Gilmour

There have been a lot of hype regarding youngster Billy Gilmour, but it isn’t just hype — the 18-year-old has played so well in the last games for the Blues, and was named the man of the match in two high profile games against the Merseyside clubs.

Gilmour brought something new and fresh to the Chelsea midfield in those games and Lampard must trust the teenager to also deliver in the coming games.

4. Christian Pulisic

Chelsea star Christian Pulisic has been out injured since New Year’s Day and hasn’t featured for the Blues since suffering an adductor injury.

However, before the injury, Pulisic seemed to have lost his place in the Chelsea team as Frank Lampard lost trust in the man called Captain America.

Pulisic has a skill set that is different from the rest of the team and could play an important role in the Chelsea team when he’s back from injury. Lampard should be willing to trust the American star who has shown at times this season how good he can be.
