Chelsea, Manchester United and Liverpool have all been linked with Borussia Dortmund star Jadon Sancho.
However, one thing is for sure – the club most willing to sign Sancho must be ready to spend over £100m.
An unnamed agent has claimed that the highly-rated teenager won’t be signing up for Chelsea and Liverpool, as he believes that the two clubs won’t be willing to spend that kind of crazy money in the transfer market.
“Chelsea will lose Pedro and Willian for nothing when the season ends. Roman Abramovich is more about patching the squad up now than breaking transfer records,” said the agent, as quoted by the South China Morning Post.
“They let Morata go and brought Tammy Abraham back on loan. They took Higuain on loan. They’re not going crazy any more.
“Liverpool are not in the market for £100 million players and they don’t need him.
“I’ve dealt with Klopp – they’d rather pay half that amount for a player a step or two behind Sancho who they think they can improve.”
While the agent seems to make sense, he seems to forget that Chelsea had gone a full season without signing players and there’s also the money from the Eden Hazard sale.
