Everton defeated Chelsea 3-1 in the reverse fixture at the Goodison Park, and over the years, the Toffees have always been a difficult side to play.
Since appointed to take charge of Everton, former Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti has turned the Merseyside outfit around, as they have moved from suffering a relegation scrap to fighting for a spot in Europe.
Despite their recent form, former Tottenham and Manchester United striker Dimitar Berbatov has backed Chelsea to be too good for Everton, and has predicted a win for Chelsea.
Berbatov told Betfair: “I like the way Everton are playing at the moment, Ancelotti has really got them doing well, although he got a red card in the last match, but I don’t think that will have much impact on preparations.
“I think Chelsea will have too much for them and I think they will nick it.”
Berbatov predicted a 2-1 win for Chelsea.
