According to Duncan Castles, Chelsea’s €35 million bid for Brazilian centre-back Gabriel Magalhaes has been accepted by Lille.

The Ligue 1 club also accepted a €35 million bid from Everton for the 22 year old centre-back and two offers from Italy.

Lille initially wanted €45 million for the Brazilian but were forced to lower the asking price amid the economic crisis the coronavirus pandemic will cause.

Gabriel has been a key player for Lille this season, making 34 appearances for the French side. He is part of a Lille defence that have conceded just 27 goals in 28 league games.
