According to Daily Mail, several Premier League clubs have made contact with Barcelona about the possibility of signing Brazilian midfielder Philippe Coutinho.

Chelsea, Manchester United, Arsenal and Tottenham have enquired about signing Philippe Coutinho from Barcelona at the end of the season.

Coutinho is currently on a season-long loan at Bayern Munich. Despite scoring eight goals and providing six assists in 22 Bundesliga appearances for Bayern, the German club are reportedly unwilling to pay the £100million fee that Barcelona are demanding to make the move permanent.

The 27 year old Brazilian has failed to meet expectations at Barcelona and may be happy to make a return to the Premier League.
