According to Italian media outlet Calciomercato, £40million Chelsea midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko is keen on joining Italian club AC Milan in the summer.
Bakayoko made 42 appearances during his loan spell at AC Milan last season and the French midfielder is keen to reunite with his friends at the San Siro.
Bakayoko is currently on loan at AS Monaco and a permanent transfer for the midfielder would please Chelsea as the Blues are seeking to raise the cash to seal big-money deals this summer, with Jadon Sancho at the top of Frank Lampard’s wishlist.
Meanwhile, Bakayoko has revealed his inevitable departure from Chelsea will be tinged with regret.
“When I leave Chelsea, I have a feeling of failure because it’s a club I loved,” Bakayoko said earlier this season.
“There was a trigger because I had gone through all the stages and it was like I had a break in my ambition. I couldn’t do enough. Now I work a lot more.”
