Despite his good form for the Blues in recent weeks, Chelsea left-back Marcos Alonso could leave the club in the summer.
Inter Milan boss Antonio Conte is keen on signing Alonso in the summer and it is believed Chelsea boss Frank Lampard might be willing to let the Spaniard leave if he gets a replacement.
Porto Brazilian left-back Alex Telles has been identified as a replacement for Alonso and the Blues are keen on signing the 27 year old this summer.
Telles has a £40 million release clause in his current contract and even though his contract expires in 2021, Porto have told Chelsea to pay £40 million for the 27 year old, according to Portuguese media outlet A Bola.
Telles recently rejected a lucrative contract extension at Porto as he is keen on leaving the Portuguese club this summer.
Dutch club Ajax are also interested in the 27 year old left-back.
