The 18 year produced a masterclass in midfield and was named man of the match as Chelsea beat Liverpool to progress to the next round of the FA Cup.
Liverpool star Fabinho would have had nightmares on Tuesday night after Gilmour ended his career with a sublime skill before creating a chance for Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud.
Meanwhile, Gilmour revealed after the game that he worked hard in training to get the chance against Liverpool.
He told BBC Sport after the game: “It was a good match. I’ve been training very hard to get this chance. Today I stepped up, took my opportunity. Great game and great victory.”
