The coronavirus has hit the world since last year, but became widespread in Europe in February, and has crippled many activities around the world.
The world is coming together to put a fight to stop the spread of the virus, and Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud has used his own capacity to send a message of support to the medical time helping the fight, as well as the general public.
“Hi everyone, just wanted to bring my support to the medical practitioners who are doing an amazing job fighting this virus,” the 33-year-old said in a video shared by Get French Football News on Twitter.
“Obviously we need all of us to contribute and be responsible, stay home, wash your hands and try to avoid unnecessary contact with people.
“We need to stick together, we can do it. I trust you, be safe.”
The Premier League has been suspended till April 30 due to the coronavirus outbreak.
