Chelsea boss Frank Lampard has confirmed Chelsea’s absentees for the game against Liverpool has increased.
According to the boss, Chelsea defender Andreas Christensen will be unavailable for the FA Cup game against Liverpool on Tuesday after picking up a slight injury.
“Andreas Christensen has a small issue,” Lampard revealed.
“We will give him another 24 hours to see how he is but the injury probably puts him out for tomorrow [against Liverpool].”
Meanwhile, Christensen revealed after the game against Bournemouth on Saturday that he has noticed a worrying pattern about Chelsea.
Christensen said: “Our story of the game against Bournemouth is that in the beginning of the first half we started off slowly and exactly the same happened in the second half.
“In the first half Bournemouth didn’t punish us but in the second half they did.
“As a defender, every time you concede is frustrating but the way we started both halves is what we have to look at and change it.”
