Carlo Ancelotti won a league and FA Cup double in his first season as Chelsea boss in 2009-10 but was sacked at the end of the following campaign despite a second-place league finish.

The sack of the Italian after the final game of the season at Everton surprised many in the world of football but Chelsea boss Frank Lampard insists he wasn’t surprised.

According to Lampard, the sack didn’t surprise him because things like that happen in elite football.

Asked if he was surprised Ancelotti was sacked a year after winning the double, Lampard replied: “I’m not surprised. This is football and these things happen all over the world in elite football, so no.”

We need to buy some attacking players who will lessen the burden on strikers.

  2. play experienced player and sub Abraham. He is useless. He doesn’t convact chances into goals. Shame and shame. Adoi is better and more physical

Lampard is a Good manager but he need more time to built the team and this time we have to keep ours talented young players. I’m sure next season we will be a better team and challenging all the big teams like before.
