Chelsea boss Frank Lampard has urged director Marina Granovskaia to complete the signing of Birmingham City midfielder Jude Bellingham, according to Manchester Evening News.
The 16 year old midfielder has attracted interest from Borussia Dortmund and Manchester United, who have already opened discussions with the player’s representatives.
Bellingham currently earns a reported £145-a-week with Birmingham, as he is on an academy wage, and is expected to sign a lucrative first professional contract when he turns 17 in June.
Lampard is expected to be backed heavily in the summer as he builds a team capable of challenging for titles and he wants Bellingham as part of his Chelsea team next season.
