Ahead of Tuesday’s FA Cup game against Liverpool at Stamford Bridge, Chelsea boss Frank Lampard has revealed Kepa Arrizabalaga is in line to return to the starting XI.
The Spaniard hasn’t started a game for the Blues since he was dropped for the game against Leicester City in February.
Willy Caballero has been preferred in goal by Lampard, with the Argentine starting in goal in Chelsea’s last six matches.
Lampard said: “Kepa is in the frame. He’s been professional as expected, he’s trained well, kept his head down, supported the team, and the group.
“I say the same every week, I get asked this every week, he’s been good.”
