Ahead of Tuesday’s FA Cup game against Liverpool at Stamford Bridge, Chelsea boss Frank Lampard has told Chelsea fans he would name a team capable of beating the Premier League leaders.

Liverpool’s unbeaten run came to an end on Saturday after they lost 3-0 at Watford. They had gone 44 games without a loss before the game against Watford.

“It’s Liverpool,” Lampard said.

“Our fans want us to overturn the best team in the land, it doesn’t mean I don’t change a couple of people, fresh legs or a couple of different options but I won’t pick a team casually and be giving minutes.

“I will be treating it with the care I would give a Premier League game.”
