Mason Mount had a massive performance for Chelsea as the Blues beat Everton 4-0 in our best league game of the season.
The 21-year-old was brilliant against the Toffees and scored a good goal to open the scoring for Chelsea.
Mount came off injured in the 60th minute after a collision with Tom Davies, but he has revealed that he’s fine now.
“I took a little knock in the back of my knee,” said Mount.
“It was precautionary to see how it was. But now, I feel fine and hopefully in the next couple of days I will get treatment and it will be fine.”
Ross Barkley was also in fine form against his former club and provided the assists for Pedro’s goal and Willian’s goal in the victory over Everton.
Reacting to Chelsea’s victory over Everton, Barkley said: “A lot of players are playing with confidence and hopefully we can take that forward.
“Billy’s a brilliant player, he showed that fearlessness; you can see the quality he’s got and he’s going to take that forward.
“There’s some brilliant young players here and it keeps us on our toes”
