The Blues are currently fourth in the league, with just nine games left until the end of the season.
So far, Frank Lampard’s side has over achieved as the Blues were not given a chance to be high up the table at the start of the season.
There have been some good and bad times for Chelsea this season, and we’d bring up our best XI of the season so far.
In a 4-3-3 formation, check out our best XI of the season
Goalkeeper: Kepa Arrizabalaga
Defence: Cesar Azpilicueta, Antonio Rudiger, Andreas Christensen, Marcos Alonso
Midfield: N’Golo Kante, Mateo Kovacic, Jorginho
Forward: Willian, Tammy Abraham, Mason Mount
In goal, we opted for Kepa Arrizabalaga. Despite his issues, the Spaniard will retain his position as Willy Caballero can’t displace him.
Chelsea skipper Cesar Azpilicueta takes the right-back spot, while Marcos Alonso has proven that he’s the best left-back at the club. The choice of centre-back pairing was a difficult one as all four centre-backs have had their problems and also their good times, but we went for a partnership of Rudiger and Christensen that has yielded fruits in the last few games.
In midfield, N’Golo Kante is always a starter when fit and puts in his best as a workaholic in the middle of the park. Mateo Kovacic has enjoyed a fine season so far, and Jorginho has been decent as well.
Tammy Abraham is surely the top striker after bagging 15 goals in all competitions. Mason Mount and Willian also make the team as they have been a key part of the season.
So, this is our best XI so. How do rate this team? You can also choose yours and drop it in the comments section.

People like Giroud and Pedro brought stability and different dimension to our game. They were just not given enough opportunities to show their worth
