Jeremie Boga has impressed since leaving Chelsea on a permanent deal to join Serie A side Sassuolo.
Boga has scored 7 goals and 2 assists in 24 Serie A appearances for Sassuolo this term and has also found the net against top clubs like Juventus, Inter Milan and AS Roma.
Chelsea have a buy-back clause of £12m for the 23-year-old, and Italian side Napoli are now targeting a move for the former Blue.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Italian side Napoli are keen on signing Boga this summer, and Sassuolo also want Chelsea’s release clause to be removed so that they can possibly sell him for a higher fee.
Meanwhile, Boga has credited coach Roberto De Zerbi for his current form.
He said: “Coach De Zerbi is helping me a great deal, I have improved so much tactically, both defending and how to attack the space, scoring goals. I am very happy.
“I want to go as far as possible. I enjoy every game and will try to win all the time, scoring goals and providing assists.”
