After it was confirmed that Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has tested positive to coronavirus, the Premier League has finally decided to shut down football activities until next month.

Arsenal star Mesut Ozil was in a sad mood as he took to Twitter to express his views, and admitted that at this time, football shouldn’t matter, but the wellbeing of everyone.

Ozil wrote in a tweet: “Football does not matter right now. The health and wellbeing of everyone is far more important than everything else. Guys, take all the precautions you can – be mindful and considerate of everyone, especially those who are at high risk.”

Ozil also admitted that thanks should also be given to doctors, nurses and scientists who are working hard to find a solution to this problem.

He went on: “As we go through this global issue, we should not forget to say thank you to all doctors, nurses and scientists etc worldwide, who are helping to keep this virus from spreading.Earth globe europe-africa๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ They are under high pressure in the upcoming weeks & deserve our respect and gratitude.”

Ozil is definitely right on this one.
