Chelsea followed a superb performance against Liverpool with a five star performance against Everton as the Blues defeated the Merseyside club 4-0 in what was a comfortable afternoon at Stamford Bridge.

Goals from Mason Mount, Pedro, Willian and Olivier Giroud secured a massive win for Chelsea.

Kepa: Barely tested. Took control of his box when he needed to. 7/10

Azpilicueta: Big performance from the captain. Very solid in defence as Chelsea kept another clean sheet, and he supported the attack when he needed to. 8/10

Rudiger: Grew into the game and put in a solid performance as he was tight against Everton striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin. 8/10

Zouma: Had one or two sloppy moments that could have hurt the team, but he was solid nevertheless as he grew into the game and put in a good performance. 7/10

Alonso: Showing the manager that he deserves to play and had good game combining well with Pedro on the left flank. 7/10

Gilmour: He showed that his Liverpool performance wasn’t a fluke as he bossed the midfield. Wasn’t shy to ask his teammates for the ball. Composed on the ball and made the midfield tick. 9/10

Barkley: Excellent performance as he gave two assists. Besides his assist, he was just brilliant on the ball and looked unstoppable. 8.5/10

Mount: Opened the scoring with a good goal that beat Jordan Pickford at his near post. Combined well with the forward players, showed great work rate and was just brilliant. Had to be subbed off after suffering a knock in the second half. 9/10

Willian: Made sure he troubled Everton’s Mason Holgate with his pace and was very lively. Capped off a good performance with a well taken goal. 8/10

Pedro: Gave another great performance that made the Chelsea fans warm up to him over the past seasons. Worked really hard and was excellent today. 8.5/10

Giroud: Time after time, he kept winning his aerial balls and made sure he troubled the Everton defence with his frame. Got a good goal to cap off a good performance. 8/10


Reece James: Came on to replace Mount and sat deep in midfield. Looked comfortable as he played in the defensive midfield role for the first time in a Chelsea jersey. 6/10

Anjorin: Came on for Willian after 70 minutes and missed a big chance. Tried to impress but it didn’t work out too well for him. 5/10

Borja: Late sub for Giroud as he came on in the 86th minute. Had one good moment where he drew a foul from Holgate after beating the defender. The 18-year-old looked sharp just under few minutes. 5/10
