Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi has been absent since last month due to a hamstring injury.

The Chelsea youngster has been pushing for a return from injury, but reports now claim that he has aggravated his hamstring injury in training on Thursday.

The Athletic claim that the 19-year-old’s recovery has been pushed back again and it’s not yet clear how serious the new issue is.

Hudson-Odoi and Christian Pulisic have both been out of action due to injury, and Chelsea boss Frank Lampard has recently admitted how much he has missed the duo.

“We miss them of course because of what they bring and they can go by people,” Lampard said.

“They can travel well with or without the ball. They are two big players who we have missed, particularly Christian for quite a while now.”
