Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger welcomed his new born son Djamal Sahr last month, and the 26-year-old has now revealed that Djamal is making him not to feel bored during his self-isolation.

Rudiger has revealed that he speaks to his family back in Germany very often, and spends a lot of time with his son.

“I have a newborn kid so you cannot be bored,” he told Chelsea via a phone call.

“The baby keeps me busy but when he’s sleeping, I am relaxing with my wife or playing PlayStation.

“I speak to my family back home on a daily basis, not only because of the virus because it was always like this, but now even more because you hope they are good.”

An overjoyed Rudiger took to social media last month to reveal his joy at having a newborn son.

“That feeling of being a father for the first time is just incredible. Welcome to the world, Djamal Sahr Rüdiger,” he wrote on twitter.
