Chelsea have been linked with a number of top goalkeepers, and AC Milan goalie Gianluigi Donnarumma has been linked with a move to the Blues as well.
Chelsea signed Kepa Arrizabalaga back in the summer of 2018 for a world record fee for a goalkeeper, but the Spaniard is yet to justify his hefty price tag, and Chelsea boss Frank Lampard seems to have lost patience with him, having dropped for six consecutive games this season.
Reports now claim that Donnarumma is learning English language amid the interest from Chelsea.
The 21-year-old is out of contract with Milan in 2021 and could depart San Siro in the summer.
Reports also claim that Milan aren’t keen to lose out on their young goalkeeper for free, with Calciomercato saying their asking price of £47 million is ‘non-negotiable’.
Despite being a young goalkeeper at the age of 21, the AC Milan academy graduate is already rated as a top goalkeeper and has already clocked up a staggering 190 appearances across all competitions since his professional debut for the Rossoneri back in 2015, managing 69 clean sheets in the process.
Reports have also linked Chelsea with Andre Onana, Nick Pope, Mike Maignan, Martin Dubravka and Dean Henderson.
