As we have all been made aware of, the Premier League has been suspended for two game weeks, and the league is due to resume in April, all things being equal.
Chelsea were to visit Aston Villa this Saturday away at the Villa Park, but the game was called off after Callum Hudson-Odoi tested positive to the dreaded Covid-19.
Meanwhile, Aston Villa have done a noble gesture by donating all their staff lunches and hot food for tomorrow’s postponed game against Chelsea to the homeless.
The club posted on their official Twitter account: “850 staff packed lunches and hot food for tomorrow’s postponed game is being donated to support homeless charities.
“If your organisation is interested and able to collect food from Villa Park by 4.30pm today, please contact the @AVFCFoundation on 0121 327 2299 ext 5700.”
Nice one Villa.
