Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has blamed massive mistakes made by his players as reason for Chelsea’s 2-0 FA Cup victory over Liverpool on Tuesday night at Stamford Bridge.
Willian scored the opener for the Blues in the first half before Ross Barkley scored Chelsea’s second in the second half to seal the victory over Liverpool.
“We made seven changes because we knew it would be intense,” Klopp said after the game at Stamford Bridge.
“We made the changes because there would be a lot of sprints because of how Chelsea play in midfield.
“It was clear we needed acceleration. It’s a learning process for the young players and you can’t do that in the living room at home.
“Losing 2-0 is not good. But it’s easy to explain. We made two massive mistakes around the goals.”
