According to Spanish news outlet Sport via Daily Mail, Chelsea are close to agreeing a deal to bring Philippe Coutinho back to the Premier League.
The 27 year old has struggled to live up to expectation at Barcelona since his move in 2018 from Liverpool for a fee believed to be around £145 million.

Coutinho is currently on loan at German giants Bayern Munich, and racked up eight goals and six assists before the coronavirus pandemic brought the sport to an abrupt halt but his performances haven’t been enough to convince the German giants to make the move permanent.
Bayern Munich’s reluctance to make the deal permanent left the door open for Chelsea to make a move for the 27-year-old.
The report claims Chelsea can sign Coutinho for less than £79 million due to Barcelona’s urgency to raise funds to buy Inter Milan’s Lautaro Martinez.
