According to Italian agent Vincenzo Morabito, who tried to broker Olivier Giroud’s move to the Serie A from Chelsea during in the January transfer window, the Frenchman could renew his Chelsea contract for another year.
The 33 year old’s Chelsea contract expires at the end of June and he has been heavily linked with a move Inter Milan and Tottenham Hotspur this summer.

“Giroud was an opportunity in January but now, given that the championships could also be played in June and July, he could decide to stay (renewing the contract) at Chelsea for another year,” Morabito told Calciomercato.
“However, everything is still uncertain, given the general situation which, in my opinion, may have cleared up in a few weeks, between the end of April and the beginning of May the picture could be more complete.”
